Welcome to Dxb Charters.
These Terms of Service apply to all yacht charter bookings, watersport activities, and related experiences arranged through our company. By confirming a reservation with Dxb Charters, guests acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.
Reservations & Confirmation
All reservations are processed based on yacht availability and final confirmation from the Dxb Charters team.
To secure a booking, an advance payment may be required.
The remaining balance must be settled before boarding unless agreed otherwise in writing.
The booking holder is responsible for providing accurate information including:
- Number of guests
- Preferred timing
- Selected yacht or package
- Contact information
For safety and legal compliance, guest capacity limits must always be respected. Dxb Charters may deny boarding if the number of passengers exceeds the approved yacht capacity.
Boarding & Trip Operations
Guests are requested to arrive at the marina before the scheduled departure time. Delayed arrivals may shorten the trip duration without compensation.
The captain reserves full authority regarding:
- Navigation decisions
- Safety procedures
- Weather-related adjustments
- Passenger conduct onboard
Any behavior considered unsafe, abusive, illegal, or disruptive may result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.
Yacht Care & Guest Liability
Guests are expected to treat the yacht, crew, and onboard facilities with care and respect throughout the charter period.
The booking holder accepts responsibility for any loss, excessive cleaning, damage, or destruction caused by guests during the trip. Repair or replacement costs may be charged accordingly.
Dxb Charters is not responsible for personal belongings lost, damaged, or left onboard after the charter ends.
Restricted Items
To maintain a safe onboard environment, certain items are not permitted on any Dxb Charters vessel, including but not limited to:
- Explosive or flammable materials
- Illegal substances
- Weapons or dangerous objects
- Hazardous chemicals
- Any item prohibited under UAE law
The crew may refuse boarding or end the trip immediately if prohibited materials are discovered onboard.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 96 Hours or More Prior to Departure
- Guests are eligible for a 100% refund of the total charter fee paid.
Cancellation Between 48 and 96 Hours Prior to Departure
- Guests are eligible for a 50% refund of the total charter fee.
Cancellation Less Than 48 Hours Prior to Departure
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time are non-refundable.
Weather Conditions and Force Majeure
- In the event that the charter cannot proceed due to adverse weather conditions, sea restrictions, port closures, government directives, or instructions from relevant maritime authorities, Dxb Charters will offer a complimentary rescheduling to the next available date. No refunds will be issued under such circumstances.
Add-On Services
- All add-on services, including but not limited to catering, food and beverages, entertainment services, DJs, decorations, photography/videography, transportation, and any other third-party services, are non-refundable once confirmed and booked, regardless of the cancellation date.
Payment Gateway, Bank & Processing Fees
- For payments made via online payment links, credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other electronic payment methods, any applicable bank charges, transaction fees, payment gateway fees, convenience fees, currency conversion fees, or processing charges are non-refundable.
- Where a refund is applicable under this policy, such charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original method of payment and may take 7–14 business days to reflect, subject to banking and payment provider processing times.r payment providers.
Amendment & Rescheduling Policy
Guests may request changes to their booking, including rescheduling, up to 96 hours before the scheduled departure time.
All amendment requests:
- Depend on yacht availability
- Require approval from Dxb Charters
- May be limited during holidays or peak periods
Requests submitted within 96 hours of the trip may not be accepted.
Weather & Force Majeure
Sea conditions and weather regulations in the UAE may affect yacht operations. Dxb Charters reserves the right to postpone, modify, or cancel trips if conditions are considered unsafe or restricted by authorities.
In such situations, guests may receive:
- An alternative booking date, or
- A full refund at the company’s discretion
Dxb Charters shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control.
Insurance & Responsibility
All yachts operated by Dxb Charters are commercially licensed and insured according to UAE maritime regulations.
However, guests participate in yacht charters, swimming, and watersport activities at their own responsibility. Dxb Charters cannot be held liable for:
- Personal injury
- Accidents during activities
- Loss of valuables
- Indirect damages or travel disruptions
Guests are encouraged to arrange personal insurance if required.
Website & Service Updates
Dxb Charters may revise, update, or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The latest published version will apply to all future reservations and website use.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed under the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes relating to Dxb Charters services shall fall under the jurisdiction of Dubai courts.
